The Wyoming Association of Conservation Districts (WACD) serves as the liaison between the local Conservation Districts, and the state and federal government. WACD provides technical assistance on a variety of water resources projects including but not limited to: policy, water quality monitoring, watershed planning, watershed assessments, GIS, and grant application/management.

Waters of the United States (WOTUS)
On June 22, 2020 the Navigable Waters Protection Rule became effective which finalized a revised definition of “waters of the United States” under the Clean Water Act.  Since that time WACD has developed this Story Map to help clearly depict the changes that have occurred over the past several years.
