Thank you for attending!
The 2026 Conservation District Employee & Supervisor Training was held February 24–26 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, bringing together conservation district employees and supervisors from across the state for several days of learning, collaboration, and professional development.
Every year, the Wyoming Department of Agriculture and WACD hosts a Conservation District Employee and Supervisor Training. The training is offered both virtually and in-person. It’s recommended that new district employees and supervisors attend to meet the department of audit’s training requirements for special districts — we also recommend this training be re-taken every 5 years.
Statewide agency partners present to the attendees and give an overview of how we all work together! This training takes place during the Wyoming Legislative Session, and on the last day, our Executive Director, Holly Kennedy takes us on tour of the Wyoming State Capitol. During the tour, attendees have the opportunity to sit in on various different Legislative meetings, including Joint Agriculture Committee Meetings, and House and Senate Floor Meetings.
